The project for serwis.co involved the development and streamlining of a website for a heating equipment service company. The client wanted a site where users could find the right service in seconds, whether they were looking for a gas furnace inspection, heat pump service, or new appliance installation.
First, we analyzed the offerings and how customers seek help. The company serves multiple brands (including Vaillant, Saunier Duval, De Dietrich, Baxi, Riello, Wolf, ACV, and Brötje) and a wide range of services: initial commissioning, inspections, warranty and post-warranty repairs, installation, and boiler maintenance. Based on this, we redesigned the menu and page header to ensure key information, including the phone number and service request button, was readily available.
Additionally, we've created new service subpages and descriptionsthat clearly explain what each service covers and who it's intended for. We've also designed a grid layout that presents services and brands in a clear, repeatable manner. We've also supplemented this with expert advicethat answers user questions like how much does a furnace inspection cost, whether you can do it yourself, and why regular heat pump service is so important.
Client
serwis.co is an authorized factory service center for heating equipment operating in the Lublin Voivodeship, headquartered in Świdnik. The company performs inspections, initial commissioning, warranty and post-warranty repairs of gas furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps, as well as equipment installation and boiler room servicing.
The main challenge was to organize the offer, which intersects various types of services, devices, and brands, so that customers don't feel lost. The website also had to build trust in the authorized service provider and facilitate quick request for assistance, even in the event of a breakdown.
industry
The heating equipment service industry is a market where customers seek fast, reliable assistance. A furnace breakdown or an upcoming service appointment are situations in which users want to know immediately whether a given service center supports their brand, what the service includes, and how to contact them.
In this industry, authorization, experience, and clear information are key. Customers compare services, check whether a company is licensed by a manufacturer, and seek reliable advice before making a decision. Therefore, a website must combine clear navigation, clear service descriptions, and educational content that demonstrates expert knowledge.
the role of the team
Analysis and structure
We analyzed the website's offerings and determined how to arrange services, brands, and products so that users could reach the correct subpage in just a few clicks.
Menu and page header
We have rebuilt the main menu and header (top bar), which contains the most important information: contact details, reviews, the "Why is it worth it?" section, and the link to services and advice.
Layout and grid
We designed blocks presenting the company's services, brands, and key strengths in a coherent, clear layout that also works well on mobile devices.
Creating subpages and service descriptions
We have prepared subpages for individual services and brands, such as inspections, first start-ups, warranty and post-warranty service, installation and boiler room maintenance, along with descriptions that explain the scope of work and the benefits for the customer.
Expert Advice
We have written guide articles answering real user questions, such as the cost and scope of gas furnace inspections, the possibility of self-service, and the importance of regular heat pump maintenance.
business goals
- Easier service ordering: visible contact details and a short path from entering the website to calling or making an inquiry.
- Organizing the offer: clear division into services, brands and device types.
- Building trust: emphasizing authorization, experience, service guarantees and accolades.
- Customer education: advice that demonstrates expert knowledge and answers questions before ordering a service.
- Increased visibility in search engines: gaining traffic for phrases related to servicing furnaces, heat pumps and specific brands.
solution
Our solution was to present our offerings in a simple way. Instead of a long list of services, we created a logical structure that guides the customer from their problem to a specific service and contact.
- Clear menu: services, brands, advice and contact information available from anywhere on the site.
- Subpages tailored to services and brands: each of them answers the question of what the service is about and how to order it.
- Trust-building content: “Why is it worth it?” sections, reviews, authorization and warranty information.
- Expert advice: articles that help customers make decisions and demonstrate a company's expertise.
