Dejek: Expanding the digital presence of an installation wholesaler with an online product catalog

The project, carried out for the Dejek brand, involved the preparation and development of an online product catalog for B2B customers. The goal was to create a transparent, organized, and convenient tool that would support business partners, installers, and contractors in quickly finding products from the installation wholesaler's offerings.

The catalog was intended to serve as a digital presentation of the product range—available online, organized by industry category, and tailored to the workflow of professional clients. The project focused on the catalog's structure, product presentation, category logic, and ease of use for B2B customers.

Dejek is an installation wholesaler offering a wide range of products for the heating, plumbing, installation, ventilation, and air conditioning industries. The company primarily serves business customers: installers, contractors, assembly companies, trading partners, and specialists working in construction and installation projects.

Due to the extensive product offering, an important element of the brand's online presence was the creation of an online catalog that supports B2B customers in quickly checking offers, browsing categories, and finding products needed in their daily work.

Due to the wide range of products, an important element of the brand's online presence was the creation of an online catalog that allows users to quickly familiarize themselves with the offer and find the products they need.

The B2B installation industry relies on large product databases, specialized product ranges, and frequent requests for specific technical solutions. Wholesale customers aren't just looking for inspiration—they often need to quickly find a specific category, manufacturer, model, or product group.

Therefore, an online catalog for an installation wholesaler should function as a practical work tool. It should organize the offering, facilitate navigation through the assortment, and support the process of inquiries and orders placed by business partners.

Our role focused on preparing and developing the online B2B product catalog so that it was clear, functional, and tailored to the needs of professional customers.

Organizing the structure of the B2B catalog

We worked on logical division of the offer into product categories and subcategories. The catalog structure had to reflect the way installers and contractors search for products—by application, product group, installation type, or manufacturer.

Presentation of a wide range of wholesale offers

The catalog was created to showcase a wide range of products from various areas of the installation industry. It was important that, despite the extensive selection, business users could quickly find the product group they were interested in and navigate to the details of the offer.

Working on product categories

The team supported the development of product categories, their naming, layout, and presentation on the website. This made the catalog more intuitive for B2B customers who often use the site for a specific purpose: to research a product, category, or available range of products.

Catalog management in CMS

We carried out work in the CMS system, including adding and organizing content, developing catalog subpages, updating information elements, and ongoing work related to the presentation of the assortment.

Adapting the catalog to the B2B purchasing process

The catalogue was developed with wholesale and professional customers in mind, for whom it is important to quickly navigate the offer, be able to check products, and conveniently proceed to contact or continue the purchasing process.

Creating a product catalog for B2B customers

The main goal of the project was to prepare an online catalog that supports Dejek business customers in learning about and browsing the wholesaler's offer.

Organizing a large product database

An important task was to organize the assortment so that even the extensive offer was clear, logical and convenient in everyday use.

Support for installers and contractors

The catalog was intended to facilitate the work of professionals who need quick access to products, categories and information about the offer.

Shortening the path to the product

The project aimed to simplify the way of navigating the catalog so that B2B users could move more quickly from a general category to a specific product range.

Strengthening the website's sales function

The website was intended to serve not only an informational purpose, but also to support wholesale sales – through a clear presentation of products and facilitating contact with the company.

The project uses solutions supporting the presentation of the B2B product catalog:

  • CMS IdoSell,
  • online B2B product catalog,
  • structure of categories and subcategories,
  • product subpages,
  • category subpages,
  • responsive solutions,
  • analytical tools,
  • content management system,
  • tools supporting the organization and publication of product data.

For the Dejek brand, we designed and developed a website that serves as an online B2B product catalog. The website was designed as a tool to support business customers in browsing the installation wholesaler's offerings.

The most important element of the solution was a clear catalog structure. Products were organized into categories corresponding to the main areas of the offer, such as heating, installations, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and other technical solutions used by installers and contractors.

The catalog allows B2B customers to browse the offer, navigate categories, and quickly find the products they're interested in. This website supports the daily work of business partners and facilitates contact with wholesalers regarding specific product groups.

As a result of the project, the Dejek brand gained a structured online product catalog tailored to the needs of B2B customers.

Most important effects:

  • creating an online product catalog for business customers,
  • organizing the structure of categories and subcategories,
  • better presentation of the wholesaler's wide range of products,
  • making it easier for installers and contractors to navigate the offer,
  • shortening the path to the products you are looking for,
  • development of the website as a tool supporting wholesale sales,
  • adapting the catalog to work with a large product database,
  • creating a basis for further development of the B2B platform.
